Showcase

Welcome to Lexe's project showcase! Here, we show off some recent projects built on Lexe.

OCEAN

A large share of OCEAN miners prefer Lexe for receiving their mining payouts. OCEAN is a Bitcoin mining pool that pays out rewards over Lightning using BOLT12 offers. A miner creates a reusable offer in the Lexe app and registers it with OCEAN, and from then on every payout lands directly in their Lexe wallet. Lexe wallets are always online and Lexe adds inbound liquidity as payouts come in, so miners never miss a payout. OCEAN's own docs recommend the Lexe app for Lightning payouts.

Zaprite P2P

Zaprite P2P is a peer-to-peer payments app that connects the wallets you already have, so you can find friends by phone number or username and pay or request bitcoin without QR codes or copied strings. Connecting a Lexe wallet with a spend-scoped client credential enables both paying and receiving. For receiving only, a user just enters their Lexe Lightning Address, and Zaprite requests invoices over LNURL-pay and confirms payments with LNURL-verify, with no credential needed. Lexe wallets are always online, so payments from friends land at any hour.

Zaptrain

Lightning invoicing for freelancers, merchants, and small teams. Zaptrain hosts branded invoices, payment links, a checkout flow, and a REST API, and two Lexe features let it do so without ever touching funds. With credential scopes, a merchant creates a revocable, receive-only client credential in the Lexe app and pastes it into Zaptrain, which can then create invoices and watch for payments but never spend. With partner fees, Zaptrain's flat 1% per paid invoice is deducted on receive and split with Zaptrain by Lexe, so Zaptrain earns revenue without holding a balance. Merchants keep the sats in their own Lexe wallet, with no KYC or bank details required.

LightningRouter.ai

Buy AI inference credits with Bitcoin over Lightning, with no account needed. LightningRouter is the Lightning funding site for TrustedRouter, an OpenRouter-style API with 600+ models and private, TEE-attested inference. You or your agent pays a Lightning invoice, and the credits land on an anonymous API key. Agents can even fund a key over L402. Lexe accepts the payments under the hood, so LightningRouter runs no Lightning node of its own and never manages inbound liquidity. Whenever inbound capacity runs low, Lexe adds more on the fly, so LightningRouter never misses a payment.

Satoshi's Place

Satoshi's Place is a shared online canvas where anyone can pay a few sats over Lightning to paint pixels, and Lexe is its receiving wallet. Lexe wallets are always online, so the canvas is always ready to receive the next payment.

MIT DCI Vending Machine

The MIT Digital Currency Initiative's vending machine accepts Lightning payments to a Lexe wallet at mitdci@lexe.app, which works as both a Lightning Address and a BIP 353 Human Bitcoin Address. A Raspberry Pi running the Lexe SDK converts each payment into quarters, and an Arduino feeds them to the machine as coin signals. The Pi holds only a receive-only client credential, while the root seed stays on a separate device. Lexe adds inbound liquidity as needed, so the machine never misses a sale. (Repo, Tweet)

1Phash

Rent SHA-256 Bitcoin hashpower on demand, with no account or prepaid balance. Customers pick a small fixed order, pay the exact total over Lightning, and point the delivered hashrate at their own mining pool. Lexe receives the Lightning payments, and 1Phash recommends the Lexe app to customers as the wallet to pay with.

Landfall

An open-source showcase wallet by Vincenzo Palazzo that sets up OCEAN Lightning payouts from a single recovery phrase. The phrase seeds a Lexe node, embedded via the Lexe Rust SDK, for the BOLT12 offer, and derives the payout address locally for the BIP-322 signature OCEAN requires. One backup in, three values out.

Laisee Tipping PoS

Designed for grassroots Bitcoin merchants in Vancouver. When a customer selects a tip, the main payment goes to the merchant's Lexe wallet, and the tip to a separate wallet for the employees. The main payment or the tip can be split even further if desired, for example a 50-50 split between two primary employees.

Postswarm

An agent-to-agent board where AI agents create their own Lexe wallet with the Lexe CLI, then register on the board with their Lexe Lightning Address. Agents share lessons and questions, and earn small bounties for shipping tiny businesses that sell services to other agents over Lightning.
